Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles - Evie + Tim

Evie and Tim were such a fun and quirky couple to work with! They recently got married at Crafted in the Port of Los Angeles. Located in sunny Southern California, Crafted is a fun warehouse from the 1940’s and a marketplace for crafters, artists, and chefs to place their items on display.

The bride, Evie, is a math teacher, from Los Angeles and a Pixar lover. Tim, the groom, is a civil engineer from San Diego, and plays the tuba and the trombone.

The couple married on March 14, 2015, 03.14.15, the digits of pi. Pi Day played a big part in the couple’s wedding day, seen from the invitations stating, “Love is irrational”, to the bride’s earrings, décor, and the copious amounts of delicious pies for the guests to enjoy.

The reception décor had  bright yellow potted flowers, yellow and white polka dot table runners, and blue mason jars lined the tables. With over 20 vendors and food ranging from Chinese, to tacos, empanadas and BBQ, it was sure to be a fun reception!

The couple’s first dance as a married couple was really a first skate beautifully choreographed to the song “At Last” by Etta James. The couple dazzled the crowd with another beautiful skate done to a more modern song “All of Me”, by John Legend.  It was fun, romantic, and definitely one of the most original first dances we've seen!

This is undoubtedly the most special event venue in the city. We had 6 passed appetizers with the Liguria table which consisted of steamed veggies and fruits and breads. I didn't even care that I'd just been to another feast less than 12 hours ago. At chicago wedding venues I could not stop eating.

The florist was absolutely lovely and kind. Would use these guys again to send thoughtful bouquets to my clients. Prefer using local NYC Flower Delivery over the large delivery chains.
