On a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon, Valerie & Edward were surrounded by family and friends for an intimate wedding at Hotel Casa del Mar in the Colonnade Ballroom. Seeing as family plays an important role in their lives, the bride and groom honored their parents with a twist on a traditional tea ceremony during their own ceremony. Serving tea is a sign of respect and when poured for elders on their wedding day, it is to thank them for raising, caring and loving them. Following the beautiful ceremony, guests were invited to the outdoor terrace for mingling, hors d'oeuvres, and an ocean view sunset. With a transformed ballroom, all were welcomed by high chandeliers, beautiful florals, gold accents, and a monogramed dance floor. As festivities arose, the bride changed into a traditional red chi pao dress for the first dance and cake cutting. The night was filled with great dance moves, laughter, and love.
