Point Vicente Interpretive Center – Charlene + Jack

A beautiful park located adjacent to the Point Vicente Lighthouse in Rancho Palos Verdes, the Point Vicente Interpretive Center is a unique facility that houses recreational events, educational opportunities, as well as special events. C+J choose this quaint seaside venue for their wedding – an excellent choice given the perfect California fall weather!

As with all weddings, C+J (and their families who were so sweet!) embedded very personal touches to their big day that were reflective of their fun personalities. The wedding was a super cute rustic themed wedding with lots of burlap, succulents and assorted mason jars (courtesy of Taka with Be Buds Florist). The decoration for the reception also included small hanging bud vase arrangements with beautiful pops of color, Manzanita trees and wood stumps to accent the tables… Their families also made a lot of DIY elements, like an adorable window pane placecard holder, to finish off that rustic charm.  It definitely was a labor of love!

With refreshments and dinner provided by Choura Events, guests indulged in a decadent hors d'oeuvres bar in addition to tray passed coconut shrimp, turkey wrapped asparagus and antipasto skewers – yum!  Dinner consisted of a full buffet with no expenses spared, complete with gourmet sliders, prime rib, and a mashed potato bar to name a few. C+J even surprised their guests with a late night snack from Chunk-n-Chip Cookies, an ice cream sandwich truck! Lastly, one of the most memorable parts of C+J’s wedding was the cake. Specially made by the brother-in-law of the bride, it was one of the cutest we’ve ever seen!

Needless to say, C+J had a very special wedding, complete with delicious food, a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and an awesome dance party complete with glow sticks afterwards. Congrats, C+J… we wish you the best!
