Sheraton Cerritos Wedding - Adriana & Shazan

With an Islamic outdoor ceremony by the Fountain and modern reception in the Cerritos Ballroom of the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel, Adriana and Shazan’s Big Day was filled with lots of cultural traditions and love. This gorgeous couple included aspects like a Prayer Room, ethnic foods & drinks, and an Islamic Marriage License to honor the Groom's ethnic and religious roots, but also included modern customs like the Bouquet Toss and a 4-song medley of oldies (Etta James & Chuck Berry) and pop songs (LMFAO & Beyonce) for their “First Dance” – a very fun blend of both cultures!

The dinner reception decor was themed to an enchanted garden... beautifully decorated with lots of candles, specialty lighting and a whimsical blend of ivy, moss and bright flowers in hues of pinks and purples provided by the amazing My Wedding Blooms. As for the cuisine, the couple opted to bring in outside catering from Pickles Indian Cuisine to satisfy their guests' hungry stomachs. They provided a buffet style dinner with very yummy choices like Samosas, Lamb Biryani, Andhra Chicken Curry, Eggplant Curry, Mutter Paneer & Garlic Naan that filled the room with a scrumptious aroma!  We're salivating just thinking about it!  The cake from Helena Wirth Cakes was also a big hit with the crowd (see photo below). A&S had a wedding that was a jump from the traditional western wedding and a real treat for us – we love being a part of and experiencing weddings of all cultures and traditions!
